Mortgage Process

TO THE PROSPECTIVE HOMEBUYER

Because we wish to process your mortgage loan application as quickly and efficiently as possible, please bring the following to your appointment:

· Copy of your purchase agreement
· Current bank statements (2 months) for all accounts
· Current pay stubs covering an entire 30-day period for   all buyers and/or co-signers.
· Names, addresses and telephone numbers of employers   for the last two (2) years.
· Name, title and telephone number of someone in human   resources or personnel that can verify your employment   and income.
· Last two (2) years tax returns (all schedules attached)   with W-2’s. Need last 3 years if applying for MFA 1st   time homeowner’s loan.
· If self-employed, need current YTD P&L, balance   sheet and 2 years corporate tax returns or partnership   returns.
· A complete two-year residence history, including   names, addresses, and telephone numbers for all   landlords and/or mortgage companies. If loan is a MFA   1st time homeowner, need all three years of information.
· Divorce decree(s) and settlement agreements (if   applicable)
· Copy of cancelled checks or deposit slips for last 12   months on alimony income and/or child support income.
· Copy of bankruptcy petition and discharge (if   applicable)
· Copy of driver’s license

After application you may be asked to bring in additional documentation such as housing increase letters, childcare letters or other documents or verifications.
